Mansefield House is ideally situated for natural based mountain biking as well as being on the doorstep of numerous forest roads and man made trails. For bikers seeking a proper challenge, this is your place.
The various Ardgarten trails (5km away) are easily accessible by bike from Mansefield House. Glenbranter trails are a 40 minutes drive away.
The Loch Lomond Cycle Path runs from Tarbet (2 miles away) to Balloch and is easily achievable by all age groups.
Several long distance foot paths / cycle trails, as well as a wealth of mountiain trails are easily accessible from the doorstep for more advanced bikers. For a true man-test, start with the Three Lochs Way and finish off your holiday with an attempt at the West Highland Way?
And for the downhill fanatics, Glencoe Mountainbiking Centre is just 45 minutes drive away. Fort William is 1.5 hours drive away and the 7Stanes centres are approximately 2 hours drive from Mansefield House.
Part of the Cyclists Welcome scheme, Mansefield House offers secure storage for bikes as well as bike wash facilities and a drying room for hanging out all your gear. Tom is always happy to advise on routes and give you ideas.
